I just finished the manga. Read the All-In-One cover to cover. And I was wondering is the Anime much different or better than the manga? I figured I'd watch the anime possibly anyway, but if it's not much different, maybe not. Or at least not now. Thanks in advance. I just finished watching the last episode of Death Note and I feel so depressed. this anime was really dark and the ending was even darker. and don't get me wrong, I really admire this show and its characters. the thing is, that all of my favorite characters were dead at the end of the show (L, Watari, Naomi, Chief Yagami, Rem, Misa, and even Mello), add to that Light's suffering in the end. The Japanese Task Force discusses the disappearance of Naomi Misora when Watari interrupts their meeting. He informs L that an audiotape, allegedly from Kira, is being broadcast on Sakura TV. When they turn on the TV, the tape appears and a mechanically scrambled voice claims that at the very second the tape It's by the same studio as Death Note and has a similar feel to it. It's only 12 episodes long with a Death Note Easter egg in the show, too. Monster is a good one as well. Also by the same studio and it's similar to Death Note in tone and genre. Last but not least, Code Geass if you haven't seen it already. I got the manga box set for christmas last year and I just finished reading it. I've got a few questions. The manga box set came with a volume 13 with an "L Real Name Card" inside. Should I open this? His real name was never revealed in the Death Note manga. Is it revealed in the anime? Also, should I watch the anime? - The ending alone made me dislike the whole Anime. So I’m going to say the anime was pretty amazing until the episode that L. died. After that it was so boring I almost couldn’t finish it and I regretted I finish because I just straight up hated the ending. So 9.9/10 score before L. death and 5/10 after L. death. Stupid disgusting ending. eCEp4.
